a) ST students of Nagaland State (only)

b) Students whose Parents/Guardians Annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh fifty thousand) only.

c) Students who are pursuing Post Matric course of studies in recognised Colleges/Universities within India.
2 NEC Stipend and Book Grant under NEC Plan Scheme “Financial support to Students of North Eastern Region for Higher Professional courses”. NEC, Shillong, Govt. of India Eligible for:

a) ST & General Students of Nagaland State.

b) ST Students who have secured 60% marks in the last qualifying final examination and 75% marks for students belonging to General Category.

c) Students who are pursuing Higher Professional course of studies in the Courses which are approved by NEC.

 Nagaland State Merit Scholarship Nagaland Government Eligible for:

a) ST & Indigenous students of Nagaland State who secured 1st Div. with 80% marks or equivalent grade in HSLC/HSSLC and 70% marks in Degree Final examination and are studying in recognised Colleges/Universities within India.

b) To maintain consistent academic result or the required percentage of marks annually for renewal of Merit Scholarship until the completion of course.
4 Nagaland State Research Fellowship Nagaland Government Eligible for:

Research Scholars belonging to ST & Indigenous Category of Nagaland who are pursuing MPhil/PhD course in recognised Universities within India.

E-SCHOLARSHIP FORM:

In view of GOI, policy to make it mandatory for all States Government that are implementing the Centrally Sponsored Schemes– Post and Pre-Matric Scholarship Schemes to be on-boarded in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0) from 2016-17, the Department of Higher Education in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology & Communication and National Informatics Centre, Nagaland has made all possible effort to provide online scholarship application. The following schemes are online with effect from the academic session 2015-16.Therefore, it has been made mandatory for students of Nagaland State to apply online for the schemes mentioned below.

  1. Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship to ST students of Nagaland.
  2. Nagaland State Merit Scholarship.
  3. NEC Stipend and Book Grant.
